*Disclaimer, I rec’d, at no cost to me, a pair of Lugz Boots via US Family Guide, in order to facilitate this review. However, all opinions are mine and mine alone and are not influenced by any outside source.
About six weeks ago I went from working what’s pretty much a desk job, to a warehouse job where I walk 7+ miles per night and climb three flights of stairs, three times per night. (I know the mileage due to an activity tracker I wear.), and lift boxes that weigh. on average, 40 pounds, all shift long, so needless to say, my body was in super rebellious mode, especially my feet, so when I was offered the opportunity, through US Family Guide, to review a pair of Lugz Boots, I jumped at the chance!
I searched through their work boots and as soon as I saw the Women’s Drifter LX with the Flexastride Memory Foam Insert, I knew this was the pair I wanted to try out. I ordered the Charcoal/Cream/Gum/Blue-Black Thermabuck pair and waited for them to arrive.
My new boots arrived about 10 minutes before I had to go to work, and I was dying to try them out, so I snapped a few photos, (along with falling in love with how they looked), and put them on and headed off to pull my 2nd shift.
Aren’t these cute! They are the feminine version of the Men’s work boot. When I first put them on, I was impressed with the memory foam inside, it felt so good to feel my feet sink into that softness!
When I got to work, several people asked where I got my shoes from, they wanted a pair. 🙂 I worked my shift and the first thing I noticed is that my feet weren’t hurting near as bad as usual, and I also noticed my calf muscles weren’t pulling as much and my lower back wasn’t aching the way it normally does. Needless to say, I was very happy with these boots!
I’ve now worn them to work for a full week, and still no issues with the foot aches coming back! If you spend time on your feet, especially on concrete, the way I do, and have a lot of walking involved, this is a great choice for a work shoe, plus they have a stylish look as well!
Lugz also makes a variety of styles of boots for every taste, and not all of them are the work boot looking style so check them out! They also offer boots and shoes for men and children, and these would make really awesome gifts for those you’re buying for this year!
